Lead Data Platform Engineer  (~95-125k/v)

For us, a Data Platform Engineer means a combination of a devops developer and an application developer with a strong data orientation. The role is tasked with designing, implementing/configuring, testing and maintaining the data platform technology stack, development and production environments, as well as CI/CD and IaC automations. The purpose of the work is to enable and accelerate the development of data-intensive applications. The work utilises available cloud services.

Expected: 

  • Experience in developing data transmission solutions from design to quality assurance and production.

  • Experience in utilizing key cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) as part of the solution.
  • Experience in designing and implementing reliable CI/CD and IaC solutions for data-intensive applications, as well as tools such as Ansible, Bamboo, Consul, Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Webpack, etc.
  • Years of experience working in the local business environment.

Appreciated:

  • Experience and/or interest in container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Hands-on coding and application development experience, such as C#, Java, Node.js, Python, SQL, etc.

  • Experience and/or interest in automated testing platforms and their use as part of the CI/CD process.

  • Experience in agile methods such as Kanban, SAFe, Scrum, etc. 

  • Passion for the systematic long-term development of personal skills

  • University degree
